The Beast

         I had just finished this book and it was very realistic and good. It was interesting because it spoke about somethings that actually occur in life. Such as drugs and how they can leave only negative impacts on your life. So lets get into the describing the book.

        It took place in Harlem there is this teenager named Anthony Witherspoon. Anthony has just went to a white boarding school in New England and he has a girlfriend named Gabby. She still lives in Harlem but with the return of Anthony. Anthony finds out something tragic with his girl that she is now doing drugs. The streets of Harlem aren't very friendly and with her doing drugs makes it worst. This is a good book to read its short but really grabs your attention. I would recommend this book to a mature audience because it goes over somethings that some readers wouldn't be able to grasp.
