Life is full of regrets

Life is full of regrets but the thing is you shouldn't be thinking about them as much. As human beings we should just move on with our lives. Yes, we do have regrets and mistakes but that doesn't change anything. As people we need to do things that we don't usually do. Why? Well so we can be happy and live life to the fullest. Although life is full of regrets who cares move on.

One way you can move on from this is by doing something that scares you each day. It has to be something you wouldn't usually do. Something that gets your heart bumping. Something that gives you goosebumps but at the same time gives you life. That's what I'm speaking about. And most importantly never  compare yourself anyone just do you. Do what makes you happy

This blog post surprisingly isn't about basketball. This is about finding something that makes you happy. If you know something that you enjoy doing do it. One thing you have to learn in life is not to care what other people think. The point is people are always going to judge you no matter what. No ones can change that people like to talk and give their opinion on things. The thing is you need to find something that makes you happy. I wish somebody had told me this earlier because I assure you right now I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing.

I'm telling you this take my advice do what you want to do. Don't think about what others will say about it. You do you and don't pay attention to the ignorance of people. Truth is people like to see you fail so they can laugh at you. But, if you find something like a hobby to do you will be fine. I dont know get yourself into something like video games, watching a series, playing a sport, drawing, dancing, building things and so forth just choose something that makes you happy. Most importantly don't ever stop what you love to do to please anyone else. At the end of the day the one person who is going to be proud and happy for themselves is you just you and only you. The interaction you have with other people really makes an impact. Below their are hobbie sto choose from.

A man named Dave

This book was the ending point to all the memoirs he has written. Such as "A child called it", "The Privilege of Youth", and "The Lost Boy". Those three other books you have to read in order.
If you don't then nothing will make sense. If you are interested in this book than you will have to read the others first. It's better to start at the bottom so if you get to the others you won't be confused.


This book is basically about how the boy Dave pezler grew up into a man that he is now. He started working at the age of 12 because he was scared that once he came out of foster care he would be broke and poor. So, he started working quickly once he left the foster care. He became a military person who wanted to fly planes and he did this because of his father. Dave met his grandmother once but it was awkward. The book ends in a type of way I wouldn't have really liked it to. But, this is a true story and Dave lived this. His mother made him vulnerable. Why is basketball such a good sport?

Basketball is a good sport because you move around a lot. It works on your arms and legs. So, if for example someone would want to lose weight this sport would be good. In this sport you have to think and have creativity. Why? You need to have both of these so you can make it easier for yourself. From my perspective I've always liked basketball it's my sport it's what I'm best at. If basketball isn't your thing I encourage you to look for a different sport that will grasp your interest.


Basketball is a great sport because you get to decide what you want to do with the ball. You are the he one who is in control. That's what I love about this sport. You always look for the solution in this game. I hope you guys try this sport and if it isn't for you then I encourage you to look for something you like. Lebron James

Lebron James is I would say in third place for the best basketball player in the NBA. Currently he plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers which is in Ohio his hometown. I've went to a basketball game of Lebron when I looked up to him a lot. He was very tall and once I saw his dunks it was unbelievable. That I was sitting in that arena watching him play. Also by the way the Cavaliers were going against the Chicago Bulls at the time.


Lebron is very precise when it comes to his crossovers and dunks. He does not want to mess up he likes to be on point at all times. One reason I like Lebron is because he is very competitive. What is Chino Hills?

Chino Hills is a highschool in California. I want to speak about Chino hills highschool because that's where the ball brothers play. But, to get into detail who are the ball brothers. The ball brothers consist of 3 brothers that play basketball in the highschool of Chino Hills. The three basketball players are well known around the U.S. The brothers names are Lonzo Ball, Lamelo Ball, and Li Angelo ball. Lonzo Ball plays in college currently but his two brothers are still in highschool.

I wanted to speak about this because I think that these three boys are very good. But, if it was up for an argument I would say only one would make it in the NBA. That would be Lonzo because he's very skilled. In general the three are very good basketball players. All three prioritize basketball because they want to make it in the big leagues.

The Girl Who Was Supposed To Die

This book is about a girl who wakes up in a room full of men she does not know. But the thing is that she is tied up and can not speak. She wakes up can't see, is hurt, does not know where she is, or who she is. The girl is all alone with 2 men who keep arguing back and forth if to kill her or not. But, the thing is that the girl has not one single idea of whats happening. She is startled and frightened. If you would like to read this book you can find it on amazon.

This book has approximately 240 pages and I finished it in a week. I would say it is a mystery book like more a thriller type of thing. The author has even more books and is April Henry. She makes very good books actually. This girl will have to go solo in this book. In the next line below I will have a trailer of the book where you can hear and watch.

Who is Isaiah Thomas?

First off Isaiah would have to be my second most favorite basketball player in the NBA. The first would have to be Russell Westbrook. Anyways let me teach you a little bit on Isaiah's background. Isaiah was born in Washington. Isaiah currently plays for the Boston Celtics he is number four. Best player in his team from my perspective and opinion. But, the best thing that makes me love Isaiah is that he is my height which is I believe 5'8. He was first drafted into the Sacramento Kings but then he went to the celtics. Isaiah's position is starting point guard.

Isaiah is very short compared to the rest of the NBA players but still manages to be a great ball player. Recently Isaiah lost his sister in a car crash he was devastated. During on of the games vs the Chicago Bulls he was crying and unfortunately lost the game. Also, Isaiah lost a tooth in one of his games but still was able to come back the next day and slam those three pointers. But the NBA players also acknowledge that he's been going through some rough things in his life. They comfort him but still play their best at the same time.

What make me feel powerful and powerless?

The time I felt most powerful was when I would get on the court knowing I wast the best on my team at the time I was in inturmeral. So, that means that there is not cuts everyone gets put on a team. The second year of middle school I took over the court. Everyone knew I was the one with the shot and the drive. I would control that court I felt so superior and happy. But, when it came to carrying my team undefeated the whole season I was proud of myself. But, in the championship I couldn't get the ball so I took it from my teammate and shot it tying us up. Leading us into overtime.

The time I felt most powerless was when I couldn't choose the school I went to. Which was very disappointing. I felt powerless because I didn't have a choice of whats school to attend. My parents told me I had to obtain good grades in order to see if I could change schools. Which did happen but I didn't change schools.

Russell Westbrook Best in the NBA ?

I personally think that Russell Westbrook is the best player in the NBA right now. Well of course next to Lebron James because he is also an extrodinary player who takes the game into his own hands. But, I think I'll leave Lebron up for a different discussion or blog post so stay tuned. Anyways back to my point Russell Westbrook is the best player in the NBA from my perspective because he is a leader  and a great point guard.


I think that Russell Westbrook deserves MVP this year and if you don't know what MVP is well it stands for most valuable player. I think he deserve most valuable player becaus he is a valuable player because without him he team would've been even worse. Russell's team is not that good only they're center is good from my perspective which is Steve Adams. A lot of people tell me I look like Steve Adams at first I would be offended but now I just think of it as a compliment. It's not everyday someone compares you to a good center. Also, Russell integrates his teammates into the game.

Who is Russell Westbrook ?

Who is Russelll Westbrook? Russell Westbrook is a basketball player that plays in the NBA for the team of Oklahoma. The teams name is Oklahoma City Thunder or OKC. Russell Westbrook is known for his triple doubles. What are triple doubles you may ask? Well it's when you hit double digits in for example three things assists, rebounds, steals and blocks. Anyways Russell Westbrook is an extraordinary basketball player.


The point of this blog is to show people a bit about my favorite basketball player. What Russell Westbrook does is just amazing and humble. Not only on the court is he competitive he is also a reliable friend for his teammates. That is one type of thing you dont really see in many player these days. Life is beautiful

Some connections I would make between our poems and this movie would have to be the way the people were treated. For example in the movie it gave us a very detailed picture of how the Jews were treated. While in the poem the Jews had more of an impactful type of thing. I could distinguish the way Germans and Jews were treated. I think the movie had made the holocaust into more of a positive mood.



The tone and mood that the movie set for me was that to stay positive and always look on the good side. While the poem spoke more about the type of depressing feelings they had encountered. The movie and poem shared similarities because they gave extensive detail about the holocaust. The tone that was set by the movie was sad and positive at the same time. But, the poem gave me more of a sorrow look of it.


Life is shown as beautiful by the way the character guido gave us spirit. The way he made up the whole idea of a "game" to protect his son from being harmed was just a way of saying if I can keep you alive it is my biggest accomplishment. Also when guido would work hard for a piece of bread showed out that being optimistic in hard life situations gives you a feel that life is beautiful. Also at the end when the little boy yells out we won still thinking it was a game and that his dad gave up his
life for him. I think those two things make life beautiful that knowing you may not come out alive but still give anything for your child and wife is amazing.

Holocaust Butterfly

The Boy Called "it"

  This book is very traumatic to read and to think it was real life is just crucial. The boy called it a little boy's will to live a survive. A life threatening life with "the mother" a monster that has some issues and isn't going to stop until her son "it" disappears or ends up dead. The book portrays how Dave was physically, mentally, and verbally abused. The father of Dave sometimes intervened but he started to get tired of doing so. The mother eventually got her firefighter husband to stop trying. That became hell for Dave since that point on.


I personally liked this book because it gave me a feeling that whatever came Dave's way he would overcome it. Although Dave had a "nice" family at first it only grew worse which grasped my attention. Dave became very vulnerable. I recommend this book to an audience that is willing to give their time and listen. This book was very encouraging and I would read again if I could. Regret

The time where I didn't ride a roller coaster because I was too scared to go on it. This happened last summer when it was my birthday. It was me, my cousin, and my brother. I felt kind of mad at myself for not going on the ride. If I could go back and redo that day I would go on every single ride that i would usually be scared of. Although my brother was trying to support me by going on the ride first.

The Privilege of Youth

This book would have to be the third book in the series that Dave Pezler has published. The first two books were a success from a child called it to the lost boy. Now it's The Privilege of Youth. This book was speaking about how Dave was growing up into a teen very scared. Dave was devastated because he knew once he left the whole foster care system he wouldn't know what to do. Then Dave met two reliable friends called David and Paul. But, with those friends Dave has to do dangerous stunts in his neighborhood to be close friends.


I liked this book a lot although it is a sad story. This has very good lessons about life that not everyone has it easy in life. The author is a brave man who had to go through dreadful things just to come as far as he has come. I recommend this book to anyone who would like to read it. Propaganda

This piece of propaganda is called "away with him" I believe that this piece of propaganda is trying to say that jews don't deserve to be teachers or work at all. I'd say that the picture was trying to obtain the message of "Jews are useless and not worthy". This image of propaganda is manipulative towards trying to get the people's attention. I would say that its pretty effective because now those who saw this propaganda will think the way the nazis what them to think. This is honestly very harsh and ignorant this is unbelievable. I think that everyone should be treated equal because nothing else matters not your color, religion, race, or beliefs.

If I could meet any person dead or alive, who would it be?

            The person I would like to meet would have to be my favorite basketball player Russell Westbrook. I would like to meet him because he has immense power when it comes to playing basketball. The man is fascinating to watch, when he plays he pours his heart and soul into the game. The first thing I would do with him is have him teach me how to play better and give me tips. I would ask him how he got to be so athletic and strong. Also, how he got so hungry and addictive for the game of basketball. This player just is a great player I suggest that you watch him play. think the person is worth meeting because he can help me reach my goal and my goal would have to be to at least get to play women's college basketball.

Super Bowl Commercial

          The most impactful commercial that I saw this year was the one where the mother and daughter had to cross the border just to get to the United States. The fact that they went through so much was just to find out that there was a wall blocking them from going over was frightful. The mother was about to collapse but the daughter still had faith and their were doors and they used them to go into the United States. But, everyone knows those doors won't be their when theres the real wall. Theres a link to the video below it demonstrates what happened.


        The message I believe was for Donald Trump and his supporters so they can see what they go through and everything. This important because if people don't inform themselves they won't be successful later in life. They are trying to reach all of the people that are in the United States so they can see how hard their life is in Mexico and how hard their journey is as well. The Beast

         I had just finished this book and it was very realistic and good. It was interesting because it spoke about somethings that actually occur in life. Such as drugs and how they can leave only negative impacts on your life. So lets get into the describing the book.

        It took place in Harlem there is this teenager named Anthony Witherspoon. Anthony has just went to a white boarding school in New England and he has a girlfriend named Gabby. She still lives in Harlem but with the return of Anthony. Anthony finds out something tragic with his girl that she is now doing drugs. The streets of Harlem aren't very friendly and with her doing drugs makes it worst. This is a good book to read its short but really grabs your attention. I would recommend this book to a mature audience because it goes over somethings that some readers wouldn't be able to grasp.

Advice

 The best advice I took was to try hard in school and stay out of social media for a while. This advice was probably the best I had ever taken because it did work out. I was usually very lazy and laid back at school most of the time back in 7th grade it showed in my report card and I thought it was because I was dumb. But, it turns out I was just lazy because if you really want to accomplish something you will you just have to really want it.


These past few weeks I've been lacking in sleep and Im always tired so I need to get more sleep so my grades will be great. I don't recall anytime my parents had told me no to anything so I need to make them proud but most of all myself. I am striving for that.

Boy 21

 I just finished reading boy 21 and it was very marvelous because while reading it I could compare myself to it. This book showed a part of life that sometimes people don't look into. What I really liked about this book is that it showed how you can lose someone fast due to gangs. In this book there was a boy named finely he had a grandpa and a dad. Finley had no other for he had lost her in a whole thing that was related with mob money. Finely would play basketball with his girlfriend Erin they were both on the varsity team. But what really captivated my attention towards this book was how they played basketball and lost some parents. I really do recommend this book it's very interesting and good.

Arguments

         The worst argument I've ever had was with my sibling. This argument had started because he had done something I didn't agree with. That was because he was disrespecting me and I was not going to stand for it . So it came out in a huge argument between us. It was only the two of us at the argument at the time. Then we we're yelling at each other. I was very mad and aggravated. I learned that some arguments aren't worth  fighting for. That argument was foolish and had no point so I decided to just let it be. I started to develop hate for my brother.


Later on three weeks later we still weren't speaking to each other I didn't speak to him he didn't speak to me it worked like that. Then I spoke to him finally because I didn't find the argument we had that big. Also he's my brother so I spoke to him and we made up at the end of it we were just fine. Like brother and sister we have arguments but overcome and to this day we joke around and have fun. So the solution was to talk calmly about the situation.

Fake it till you become it

    I feel very confident about my writing because every time I write it is a good way for me just to express my thinking onto a peice of paper. I think I need to speak a bit more so I can become it. So I can actually" fake it till I become it". I don't really speak loud or that much so I think I need a little bit of a confident boost in that. Spreading Kindness

         This winter break I gave back by helping out my neighbors and cleaning their driveways from the frozen ice by putting some salt. I felt like helping out because the month of December is the month of giving and being grateful from what you give and get. Although my neighbors are a bit irritational I decided to take away the trouble of them having to do it themselves.In the end I felt good about myself and that's that.
